Banking & Finance Lawyer. Int'l Firm. 6-12 month FTC. 1-5 PQE

A top tier international firm is looking to secure a strong Banking & Finance Associate for a 6-12 month FTC within their ranked general lending team. Candidates are likely to have 1-5 years' PQE and be able to start a new role immediately or at short notice. A strong banking & finance background obtained within notable City or International firms is essential.

The successful candidate will join a highly reputable team and will be involved in providing specialist advice to borrowers and lenders on a wide range of transactional lending matters, including real estate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, secured and unsecured corporate lending. Whilst this role will predominantly focus on real estate finance and general lending, there will also be opportunities to work on acquisition/leveraged finance, energy sector project financings, corporate trustee mandates and some debt restructurings.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for example)
• Ideally between 1-5 years' PQE in handling broad banking and finance matters (ideally with Real Estate Finance experience)
• Experience obtained from notable City or International law firms
• A keen eye for detail
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• A client-centric mindset
