Commercial Litigation – 1-4 years - Berkshire
Our highly regarded operate across the South from four main hubs including London but now seek to add further strength and depth to their Berkshire based offering.
The Litigation Department deals with a wide range of contentious matters including commercial disputes, property litigation (general and landlord and tenant), insurance, construction and engineering, judicial review, trusts (both commercial and private) and estates, insolvency and intellectual property.
The focus of this role will be to assist with a wide range of disputes, principally of a commercial nature, acting for a variety of clients including public companies, private companies, SMEs, LLPs and private clients.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Working on a broad range of general commercial litigation matters which include amongst other things contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of warranty claims and professional negligence cases.
- Under direct supervision from a partner, to handle a diverse caseload and take responsibility for managing that caseload including taking proactive steps to ensure the client’s expectations are delivered
- Where time permits, to assist as required, with other areas of litigation including, property litigation, civil litigation, construction and engineering disputes and public law matters.
A strong academic profile coupled with experience ideally gained from a recognised City or regional practice is preferred.
