NQ Court of Protection Solicitor

A dynamic, multi-service law firm in South Manchester are looking to take on an NQ Court of Protection Solicitor. 

In this role, you’ll manage a mixed caseload of deputy administration cases on behalf of clients with complex needs and high-value litigation awards.

• A forward-thinking and ambitious firm, originally set up just over 10 years ago by partners who previously worked together at a leading, national law firm  
• Reporting to the firm’s Directors and the Head of Department, you’ll handle a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters and work closely with clients who lack capacity together with their family members 
• You will also be expected to work with the marketing department to promote the firm and attract additional business from new and existing clients 
• The firm have a close-knit team and high levels of staff retention, as they support their employees to develop their careers 
• The firm is based in one of Greater Manchester’s most popular market towns, with offices are close to local transport links 
• You’ll split your time between working at home and in the office  
• Commutable from Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Sale, Hale, Timperley and Warrington

The ideal candidate  

• An NQ Court of Protection Solicitor or a Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE 
• Will have experience of using a case management system and understand and be able to interpret Civil Procedure Rules as required 
• Will be personable, with excellent client care skills  
• Someone with an empathetic, calm and caring nature   
• Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
