Locum Legal Assistant – West Midlands – 3-6 months – Part time
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Locum Legal Assistant based in a public sector organisation based in Worcestershire.
The position will be for a minimum of 3 months; however there is scope for it to continue on for dependent on the workload and needs of the Organisation.
The client would like someone to take on the position on a part time basis working 3 days per week (21 hours). The position will be remote working although office presence would be preferred.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has just completed their LPC and are looking for the next step in their career.
Duties may include:
Assisting Solicitors with planning matters and drafting documents relating to planning agreements
Handling post-completion matters for the planning legal services team on behalf of the Council
Dealing with highway agreements and public rights of way orders
Offering support to other legal departments as and when required
The position offers an hourly rate of £12 - £15 (Umbrella) depending on experience.
