JOB TITLE: Locum Childcare Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 3+ years
LOCATION: Devon / Remote
SALARY: Up to £55.00 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
This Busy public sector body are seeking a talented and committed Childcare locum solicitor to take on a busy childcare caseload, conducting casework and advocacy for a wide range of cases relating to Children Act 1989 proceedings. Your caseload will see you taking cases to court and tribunals, including contested hearings in the family court. The appointed Childcare Solicitor will be responsible for advising social services, families and young people, as well as departments across the organisation to ensure your client's best interests are served. The successful applicant will be available to start the role immediately for a period of 6-months, this role can be undertaken on a remote basis.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate must be resilient, hardworking, and passionate about this area of law. The appointed Locum will have gained at least 3 years’ + experience in this area of law. Excellent knowledge of public law and matters concerning the protection of children, is essential to being successful in this role. You will be joining at a busy time you must be able to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to a busy workload.
