The Role

This is a stand-out opportunity for a Construction Litigation Associate to join this highly regarded, Top 20 firm, based in Manchester.

The team handles a broad range of Construction Litigation work on behalf of employers. You will deal with a wide range of different industry sectors, as well as a wide range of company sizes, this variety will make for an exciting and diverse caseload.

You will handle a varied caseload with a key focus on domestic and international construction disputes. Acting for a diverse client and sector base, you will gain direct experience in all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of high quality, highly complex disputes in the infrastructure, construction and transport sectors. The team you will be working with have a proven track record of success in providing contractual, practical, operational and risk management advice on distressed, high-value or strategically critical projects.

Requirements

• 1- 4 Years PQE Qualified solicitor
• Strong professional and interpersonal skills
• Great communication skills and legal technical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and develop relationships across the business
• Proven record of successfully leading and managing projects
• Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical issues that are key to our clients
• Recognises and grasps opportunities for the firm, including repeat business
• Good knowledge of PC applications, including MS Office
