Paralegal | Commercial Property

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our clients Commercial Property team in their Cwmbran office.

You will assist two commercial property solicitors within the department with a wide range of property matters including commercial and residential site acquisitions, commercial & residential development, funding arrangements and agreements, planning and infrastructure agreements, joint ventures and options, commercial leases and general landlord and tenant advice.

The Role

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to:

• Report directly into two Solicitors in the Commercial Property department
• Take ownership of your own fee-earning matters as assigned
• Running case files on behalf of key clients alongside senior members of the team
• Perform legal research
• Undertake file opening procedures
• Complete Land Registry applications
• Complete Stamp Duty Land Tax forms and submission
• Scan documents
• Deal with telephone enquiries and provide client updates as necessary
• Prepare reports on title
• Draft basic property documents
• Put together title packs
• Attend meetings with other fee earners and prepare notes
• Schedule deeds and documents

Candidate

About you:

• Have a minimum of a 2:1 legal degree.
• Have existing paralegal experience within Commercial Property.
• Possess excellent client care and communication skills.
• Looking for an opportunity to progress
