Legal Manager – Proceeds of Crime

Are you looking to take the next step in your career? Being a Legal Manager with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Proceeds of Crime means that you will be at the forefront of delivering justice.

CPS Proceeds of Crime (CPS POC) is at the forefront of the fight against Economic Crime, ensuring that criminal assets are restrained, confiscated and enforced. The Legal manager is responsible for the day to day management for a team of Prosecutors. They will be responsible for the casework on the team which may include: restraint, enforcement and confiscation casework, line management of all lawyers in their team, and engagement with the Police, CPS Areas, Complex Casework Units and Central Casework Divisions.

The postholder will be responsible for management of all areas of performance and improvement, ensuring objectives and expectations are clearly established, milestones met and targets delivered across the unit. They will manage an effective system of quality assurance and ensure performance management is implemented and maintained.

You will have opportunities to develop your career further, including using your Individual Learning Account (ILA) to attend training courses and get the chance to shadow colleagues to gain different perspectives. You will be supported in your progression with access to various promotion opportunities.
