Job description: A Local Authority in Yorkshire is looking for 2x Childcare Locums (1x Solicitor 1x Legal Officer) to assist them in their busy Childcare department.
The role would be initially for 3months, however there is potential for extension.
This role will be mostly remote; however, the successful candidate may need to attend the Council on occasion.
The successful candidate will be dealing with:
- Handling their own caseload of Public Childcare & Care proceedings
- Undertaking their own Advocacy in Family Proceedings Court and County Court
- Preparing documents in accordance with the PLO procedure and attending PLO meetings
It is essential that candidates applying for this role have previous experience in Childcare Law within the Public Sector.
