You will be a Partner with circa 5 years PQE, looking to take the step up to Head of Litigation.

This firm is very similar in style to a West End practice. They have an excellent client base of HNW individuals and businesses, and a growing proportion of their work has an international element; the practice rests close to Knightsbridge, London.

The firm has been established 15+ years and have grown year on year, with a current headcount of over 50 members of staff. They have a history of attracting lawyers out of the city who are looking to retain a high quality of work but want better work-life balance, progression, and prospects. The Role

This firm is looking to hire a Head of Litigation into their flourishing London office.

Joining a highly successful department, the team are cutting-edge, ahead of the curve, and offer real value to the matters they deal with. They have an established client base and are looking for someone to further develop and grow the department.

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, focussing on managing a team, learning how the business operates and feeding into strategic projects and business development - you will be expected to show a willingness to attend marketing and networking events.

You will be joining a well-established team consisting of 2 partners, 2 assistant solicitors, 1 paralegal and a consultant solicitor. They deal with a broad range of work including: Partnership & Shareholder Disputes, Employment Disputes, Contractual Disputes, Director Disqualification Proceedings, Property & Construction Litigation, Insolvency & Restructuring and Landlord and Tenant matters. They also deal with Private Wealth & Contested Probate, Property Fraud & Identity Theft, Professional Negligence and International Litigation & Arbitration Commercial Construction.

You will be given a great level of support from the Partners within the firm.

Requirements

• You will be a Senior Litigation Partner 6 years+ PQE or current Head of Litigation
• You will have excellent technical knowledge and strong commercial awareness
• Proven business development experience and preferably a portable client following
• You will be the type of candidate who can think commercially and spot business opportunities
• You will enjoy as working in part of a modern, collegiate environment
