Job Details
A highly successful full-service law firm based in Newcastle are looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner. This is one the leading firms in Newcastle city centre and should jump out as a very strong residential conveyancing opportunity amongst the many others available in the North East market. This leading private practice are open to hearing from Residential Conveyancing Fee Earners, Licences Conveyancers, Chartered Legal Executives and Paralegals however the fixed requirement is that you have upwards of two years hands on fee earning experience within another residential conveyancing department.
The role:
- You will be welcomed into and fully complement the conveyancing team by managing your own caseload of all types of residential conveyancing transactions autonomously
- You will be dealing with a wide range of clients and run a full caseload of sales and purchases, leasehold and freehold as well as exposure to more complex matters such as Transfer of Equity and much more
- You will be responsible for the drafting of all legal documentation which will support the conveyancing transaction and will be supported by non-fee earning members of staff allowing you to focus on fee earning
- Your contribution to overall business development will be greatly valued as it would in turn, support your own professional development
The ideal candidate:
- At least 2 years' worth of experience in a fee earning position, with the ability to prioritise your work efficiently in order to meet strict deadlines
- You must be equally confident with leasehold and freehold matters and be confident managing your own caseload with assistant support
