Paralegal required for public sector organisation based in Brighton- hybrid working

Your new company
Our public sector client is looking for a Paralegal to join their Automatic Enrolment legal team in Brighton. As a large company with over 800 employees, this is a great opportunity to join their progressive organisation.

Your new role
This paralegal opportunity will be focused on Automated Enrolment Litigation before the First Tier Tribunal, criminal prosecutions and debt cases. There is advisory work, as well as opportunities in procurement, commercial and information law.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
Managing your own litigation case load of cases before the First Tier Tribunal, including preparing responses, providing advice, organising evidence and appearing at Tribunals as required
Providing support to lawyers- efficient management of documents
Liaise with legal counsel and other external parties as required
Arranging service of legal case documents on external parties
Filing documentation with the DP/Tribunal/Court to required deadlines

What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge of Court / Regulatory procedures
Knowledge of Data Protection Act / Freedom of Information general principles
Very strong IT skills, including experience of standard IT software applications and document management systems
Relevant legal qualification essential
Previous paralegal experience, in particular in a commercial civil litigation setting.
Working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules desirable, but not essential
Previous experience of document review and project management , desirable but not essential.
