TSR Legal are proud to be working with a multi award-winning specialist residential property law firm who are looking to appoint a Head of Remortgage to be based from their Gloucester office.

Due to recent success in winning new work streams this expanding law firm are looking to appoint an experienced Property Lawyer / Solicitor to lead and build a new, dedicated remortgage team working closely with their expanding list of high-profile IFA and Mortgage Broker introducers with a strong focus on the London Market.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience handling a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters and strong team management skills including the ability to develop, coach and mentor junior team members.  You will have strong technical knowledge in the following:

• Residential property conveyancing (remortgage matters in particular).
• Leasehold and extension work.
• Detailed understanding SDLT.
• Transfers of Equity.
• The impact of and how to deal with restrictions and cautions lodged against a property.
