Converting to the Bar?
Due to a surplus of work particularly in the areas of civil, family and immigration, we are currently seeking applications to join our busy and friendly common law set. We have a range of positions available including tenancy, “squatter” and door tenancy.
We are particularly keen to hear from solicitors with advocacy experience (prefer-ably with Higher Rights) interested in converting to the Bar and diversifying their current practice areas.
We are a well-established set supported by an experienced and pro-active clerking team.
We have a range of work across the Midlands and beyond. By virtue of electronic communications and a personalised clerking approach, our barristers live and work remotely from Leicester. The clerks could almost certainly accommodate you in whatever area of the Country you are in.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working and self-motivated lawyer interested in pursuing a career as an advocate at the self-employed Bar.
Please call 0116 255 9144 for an informal discussion if you wish or you can apply by way of covering email and CV to the Management Committee.
