The opportunity

My client is a leading, multi-office law firm. They are L500 ranked across numerous departments and serve both individual and business clients across the UK and internationally, including SMEs, multinational companies and global brands.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious Senior Associate looking to take on City quality work, whilst working as part of a fun, close-knit team. There are excellent progression prospects on offer, so this may suit someone who cannot see a clear progression path in their current firm.

The successful candidate will work directly alongside the department's Partners, two accomplished lawyers recognised by the Legal 500. The work itself is broad ranging and can be tailored for the individual, to include:

• General corporate and M&A work
• Private Equity transactions
• Banking
• Corporate restructuring
• General contractual advice (start-ups to larger private and public companies, media)
• Franchising
