Job Details

This Charity aims to reshape the experiences of children, young people and their families regarding mental health.

The Employer:

By carrying out research to improve understanding of mental health and to evaluate and improve the treatments and services offered, this Charity transforms the experiences of the people they help when dealing with their mental health.
They do this by developing new approaches, tools and services to support children, young people and families in distress. This involves teaching and training a new generation of professionals and researchers in the latest skills and tools to improve mental health globally. In addition, the Charity takes a leading role in developing policy and practice in the UK and beyond to ensure that it is built on science, tested experience and has the input of children, young people and their families.

You'll find them collaborating nationally and internationally in partnerships that develop a step-change in child mental health and wellbeing.

The Charity believes that by working in collaboration with communities and professionals, they can scale up their support for millions of infants, children, young people, and families.

The Role:

This Charity is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Contracts Manager.

The role is 14 - 21 hours per week with complete flexibility regarding which days/hours are worked.

If you are interested and suitable for the role, there may be the opportunity to do up to around 28 hours per week if you require more hours than the previously mentioned hours on offer.

This role is initially an 18-month fixed-term contract, but there is a likelihood that this would be extended, or a permanent contract may be offered.

The role will involve reporting directly to the Charity's Chief Operating Officer.

The Information & Governance Manager (I&G) is currently handling the commercial contracts work, but due to the level of work, this role has been created to support them. Therefore it is a standalone role in some respects, but you have a direct line of communication to the COO and the I&G Manager - so there is support in place.

The culture is delightful; as a charity, the business ethics are excellent, which translates into how they treat their employees.

The COO's personality is friendly and warm, and the I&G Manager is equally personable. It's a very 'happy' team which will make this a very enjoyable role.

The Work:

The work will involve drafting a wide range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to multi-party agreements, service level agreements, clinical service agreements and more.

Experience required:

You will need to be capable of drafting a wide range of commercial contracts.

Therefore, you will need to have several years of experience within a similar role in-house or as a paralegal in a commercial contract focused role within a private practice law firm.

Whatever your experience looks like, you will need to have a can-do attitude.

Place of work/hours:

The role is part-time, 14-21 hours, but if you can only accept a role at 28 hours per week, then please still apply.
The whole team is currently working remotely. In January 2022 they plan to return to the office 40% of the time. However, this is all up for discussion, given the part-time nature of this role.

All of this makes this an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Manager in the City of London.

Apply now for immediate consideration!
