We are working closely with a Multinational Law Firm on their search for a strong Commercial Litigation lawyer with 4+ PQE. The successful candidate will join the team on a 12 month FTC. The contract is to cover a period of maternity leave. This opportunity is assigned to one of the firm's regional offices and the right candidate will only be required to go into the office for 1-2 days a week and will be required to work on very high quality, diverse, national, and international matters.
The firm advises on a broad range of disputes involving commercial contracts, professional indemnity, commercial fraud, product liability, franchising, banking disputes, corporate disputes, and construction disputes. Their clients include financial institutions, banks, blue chip companies and individuals.
Successful candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and advising on day-to-day commercial litigation issues for a variety of clients. In joining this team the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with two Band 1 ranked Partners.
Candidates should ideally be available in 4 weeks and be able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for example)
- 4+ years' PQE in handling a broad commercial litigation caseload
- Experience gained from notable City, National or Top Tier Regional firms
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A keen eye for detail
