Corporate Solicitor - 2+ Years' PQE - Reading

Our client is looking to offer the opportunity for a corporate solicitor to join their experienced and expanding team in their Reading office.

The team handles a full range of corporate matters, mostly consisting of shares and business acquisitions and disposals, with transaction values typically ranging from £1 million to £50 million. The role includes providing ongoing support for clients requiring governance and strategic advice, as well as advising on a variety of corporate issues including shareholders' agreements, restructuring and articles of association. The successful candidate will also be expected to advise on share schemes and joint ventures, in addition to this handling debt and equity funding arrangements. The majority of the work handled within this team has an international element, mostly involving US clients.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' PQE in corporate transactional work with at least some experience of investment and corporate banking work. You will be expected to take a proactive role in business development and work effectively within a team. To be successful, you will deal confidently and directly with senior professionals and sophisticated clients. You will also interact with other colleagues from the firm's wider business service group proactively and effectively.
