A well-established Local Authority within the South East of England is seeking an Education Lawyer to join their team for a 3 month period with the view for extension. The council are offering fully remote working and both full and part time candidates are to be considered.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Education Lawyer to join a friendly and supportive council with an excellent team environment and culture.

The ideal candidate for the education lawyer role would have the following attributes;

• Knowledge of the law and practice relating to special educational needs
• Ability to demonstrate significant specialism or depth of knowledge in special educational needs law
• The ability to work within a team but also be able to run your own caseload of education law matters including advice related work

The candidate ideally must be a qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal executive but the council will consider non-qualified candidates with legal education experience.
