Financial Crime Senior Legal Advisor

One of our clients a well-regarded private practice law firms is looking for an experienced Financial Crime Senior Legal Advisor to go on secondment for one of their key clients – a leading healthcare provider.

The role is to start as soon as possible for a period of 3-6 months and is offering a flexible remote working arrangement.  The suitable candidate must ideally be a qualified solicitor.

Key Duties and knowledge:

-      Extensive financial crime related legal and/or regulatory knowledge and broad experience in advising on highly sensitive issues, including the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of documentation.

-      Involvement in the implementation, maintenance and review of the financial crime risk control framework

-      Providing subject matter expertise to MUs and Group functions in relation financial crime

-      Managing, coaching, and mentoring members of the Group Financial Crime team and global legal community

-      Providing strategic advice and support of financial crime related matters and supporting MUs on resolving financial crime related concerns

-      Developing and recommending changes to standard financial crime related guidance

-      Providing an escalation point for complex technical queries and ensuring their effective and commercially sound resolution
