About Our Client

Our client is a top tier US international law firm. Their US capital markets team work as part of a multi-practice and multi-jurisdictional team handling high value equity and debt capital markets offerings,

They are currently in the process of hiring a UK or US qualified lawyer (1-3 PQE) with proven experience in US Capital Markets, Equity and Debt Offerings and USIPOs. Previous experience working at a peer law firm is essential and who can demonstrate the following skillset:

Applicant Requirements

Skills and Capabilities required:

• 1-3 year PQE
• Open-minded and flexible about their roles on various transactions, which may include due diligence/document review, drafting prospectus disclosure, negotiating underwriting and other transaction documentation
• Be able to work effectively with colleagues and counsel qualified in other jurisdictions
• Be willing to act, in certain situations, as the lead associate on a transaction and also be willing to be the more junior associate on a team of more senior associates
• Be proactive, and able and willing, to discuss legal issues with clients and communicate advice effectively to them
• Take an active and client-facing role in business development planning and execution
• Have strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Taking instructions internally or externally.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to leverage IT tools and resources to further the exchange of high-quality know how
• Commercial Skills
