The Role

The firm is seeking a Construction Partner to join its rapidly expanding City of London Office.

You will be responsible for building or developing your client base, adopting the firm's ethos and working alongside the other Partners to build the brand further ensuring future success for the existing team and the office as a whole.

Therefore, you must be client-facing, business development focused and entrepreneurial to increase their Construction offering throughout.

Although this opportunity will be based around your specialist area(s), you will ideally have a broad knowledge across all areas of contentious and non-contentious construction, including:

• Adjudication, Arbitration and Litigation
• Providing practical and commercial advice at an early stage where projects are in distress
• Interim and final payments disputes,
• Professional negligence claims
• and issues of delay and defective works to name a few

The team act for Corporates and High net worth individuals, Construction professionals, Contractors and Sub-contractors and the successful candidate can look forward to a broad range of quality work across various sectors.

Requirements

• You will be a Construction Partner with at least 6 years PQE +
• Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is advantageous
• You should have first-class communication, outstanding business development skills and an entrepreneurial flair
• A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous

• Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of PQE, and client base -you will also receive an industry-leading benefits package
