Democratic Services Officer – Interim – Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority, who are known for their excellent quality of work and who are recruiting for a Locum Democratic Services Officer to join their department.
This is a full-time assignment. The locum authoirty is looking for someone to fill in on a temporary basis while they recruit for a permanent candidate.
This position offers remote working, but the council does need to attend in person committee meetings in the evening every couple of weeks.
The day to day duties include attending committee meetings, taking minutes and organising the agenda.
