Head of Employment

A progressive and award-winning regional law firm has recently undergone large expansion after acquiring two law firms over the past few years and are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join them as Head of Department.   

In this role, you will have the chance to come in and build your own employment team so it's an outstanding opportunity for a senior lawyer. 

The firm are very flexible so you will be able to work from either of their Greater Manchester offices and/or work from home if you wish however you may need to travel between the two offices in Manchester and Blackburn.  

This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Head of Employment or an ambitious lawyer looking to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate  

• An experienced Employment lawyer 
• Must have a wide range of employment experience, management/supervisory experience and BD experience. 
• A personable, confident and articulate communicator  
• Will have experience of supervising or managing a team  
• Will be self-motivated and able to prioritise and manage your time well  
• Will be committed to providing a high level of customer service
