JOB TITLE:                            OFFICE MANAGER

REPORTING TO:                MANAGING PARTNER

An Office Manager is required to join a boutique law firm with an international reach based in Leeds. A full-service commercial law firm, they have proven themselves to be a strong contender, acting on various high-profile cases against much larger firms.

DUTIES :

-          Support, co-ordinate and maintain all aspects of the smooth running of the firm
-          Co-ordinating staff training
-          Managing suppliers
-          Point of contact for any calls for the Managing Partner
-          Ensure staff are complying with company procedures
-          Management of the firms’ memberships and accreditations including LEXCEL
-          Assisting with HR including the recruitment of new staff, references
-          Provide inductions for new members of staff
-          Liaising with a variety of professionals by telephone, letter and email
-          Diary Management
-          Organising travel and accommodation
-          Overseeing the ordering of stationary and general office supplies
-          Archiving files
-          Preparing invoices and chasing aged debtors
-          Cashiering duties on occasion
-          Maintaining Health and Safety records
-          Providing ad-hoc support to different business functions
-          Supporting and assisting on projects and events
-          Updating website and social media sites
-          Management of the case management system, IT and facilities
-          Any other PA/administrative tasks as required


PERSONAL SKILLS NEEDED:

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          Good organisational skills
-          Ability to multitask
-          Flexible                                                                                                               
-          Proactive
-          Advanced IT Skills
-          Financial control skills
-          Experience in a similar role and/or in the legal industry and some experience with SRA Accounting             Rules is highly advantageous
