Private Client Fee-earner

One of our well regarded clients are looking to recruit a Private Client Fee-earner to be based in their Barnsley office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading South Yorkshire practice and work in a friendly, supportive and professional department.

The Role

Managing your own caseload, you will advise clients of the firm, supporting them from the start to the finish of their cases. You will advise on a wide variety of Private Client matters and work with the rest of the team and the wider firm to contribute to the financial success of the firm.

The Person

Ideally you will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive and will have an excellent working knowledge of this area of law and have had previous experience of running your own caseload of Private client cases. You will have excellent client care skills and the ability to relate and show empathy to clients where necessary, yet remaining highly professional at all times. You will have excellent technical drafting skills and be confident drafting and negotiating all legal paperwork required and also be able to use case management systems to track and manage your clients cases. You will also be confident working with intermediaries of the firm and also attending and/or organising marketing events in order to develop working relationships with third parties.
