Up to £50 per hour umbrella

We at Panoramic Associates are currently working with a large Local Authority based in the South East, commutable from London who are looking for a Locum Planning Lawyer to join them for an initial 3+ months contract, possibly extending beyond then!  The successful candidate will be able to work on a remote working basis and there is also opportunity to attend the office if that is your preference.

This role will join the planning and highways team within legal services at a large local authority working on some interesting and complex work to assist with some exciting on-going projects for the council. You will be working alongside informed and appreciative client departments, the work is significantly important to the residents within the county and so the role will involve collaboration with borough and district councils in the region!

Essential criteria:

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
• Good practical knowledge of complex planning and highways matters to include S106, S38 and S278  agreements.
• Experience of working independently with minimum supervision
