This organisation is one of the UK's biggest general insurer groups, working with some of the country's leading insurance brands.

Your new role

This role will involve the successful candidate handling a wide range of Fast Track Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, as well as Part 8 Litigated cases. The role will require careful attention to detail and will involve being involved at all stages of the claims process. As well as investigation and collating evidence, the successful candidate will be required to provide accurate and informative legal advice to clients and where relevant will be involved in negotiating settlements, drafting proceedings and complying with all the requirements of the civil litigation process up to final hearings. This opportunity will provide the successful candidate with a well-rounded experience encompassing all elements of the civil litigation process.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A good and updated knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules for Personal Injury claims, MOJ Pre Action Protocols, Practice Directions, and relevant statutes / case law.
  • A good and updated knowledge of the Judicial College Guidelines for the assessment of general damages (personal injury matters).
  • Previous experience of using a case management system.
  • Excellent client communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • An ability to work collaboratively
  • A willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to work towards deadlines.
