In House Paralegal (6 Months)

Our client, a global biopharmaceutical organisation, is looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join their In House Team.

The role will focus on providing the following:

• Legal support to International Strategic Marketing team, Medical Affairs and Regulatory, including contracts related work, for International, including International Distributor agreements
• Providing support on Product Liability litigation, liaising with the Product Surveillance team on legal complaints, corresponding with external lawyers (including opposing counsel) both in the UK and internationally across multiple jurisdictions
• Legal support to Procurement teams relating to manufacturing sites across International region
• Legal support on Brand Protection, including reviewing and assessing potential Trademark, Copyright and Patent infringement, drafting cease and desist letters, managing and filing diversion and counterfeit reports
• Maintaining template contracts and legal documents
• Support and assist with corporate projects, acquisitions and reorganisations
• Management and updating of Legal SOPs, guidelines and procedures
• Assist with audits, investigations, inquiries and inspections
• Company secretarial support

Applications are sought from experienced paralegals or legal assistants who have ideally completed their LPC and who have gained a minimum of 1 years experience. It is essential that this includes commercial contracts and commercial litigation experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT skills and organisational skills are also key.

The role will commence in January and will run for 6 months but there is a very strong possibility that this will be extended further. It is predominantly office based in Buckinghamshire with remote working available one day per week.
