The Role

The firm are looking for a Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor to join their growing department in Altrincham.

This is an NQ-junior level opportunity and the firm recognise that Probate Litigation is a niche area of Law. You should have completed a seat in Commercial Litigation and have a real interest and passion within Contentious Trusts and Probate.

You will be provided with the support and training to help develop your skills in this area of law and there will be ample training from industry leaders within the team/department.

The role will include acting for claimants and defendants on IPFDA claims and validity challenges, drafting proceedings, drafting witness statements, undertaking disclosure and instructing counsel.

Requirements

  • You will be an NQ Solicitor up to 4 years PQE
  • You should have experience within general Commercial Litigation work and ideally have a seat or qualified in this.
  • Experience of some Contentious Probate work would be beneficial, though this is not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail.
