Corporate Solicitor

A UK Top 100 Law firm are looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Solicitor NQ-4PQE, to join their nationally recognised Corporate team, which specialises in Technology, Healthcare and Life Sciences. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Solicitor to be given a real platform to progress in a Legal 500 tier 1 team, who pride themselves on their ability to truly compete with London based firms.
This is a permanent, full time role, which can be based out of Bristol or Exeter, with a couple of days a week home working.

This is what you’ll be doing

• Work on a broad range of corporate technology matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate and commercial transactions
• Your workload will be in line with your PQE and corporate experience, so you may find yourself running your own caseload, alongside assisting on my complex matters
• Develop relationships with a varied client base, within intellectual property rich industries, encompassing private equity, venture capital, as well as public and private companies
• Develop your knowledge and expertise across the Digital Health and Life Sciences sector
• Involvement within business development activities, with client contact from an early stage

The experience you’ll bring to the team

• NQ – 4 PQE Solicitor
• Experience within Corporate law (at least a seat at NQ level)
• Sound mergers & acquisitions and venture capital knowledge
• An interest in the Digital Health or Life Sciences sector (ideally experience in working with similar clients)
• Ability to build strong client relationships, with excellent communication skills
• Meticulous and entrepreneurial
• Driven to progress your career
