You will also have excellent knowledge and understanding of research contracting and must be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

To be successful, you will be well organised and have good problem-solving skills. You will also be an effective communicator to be able to help colleagues at all levels with the ability to make clear recommendations to managers.

You will work with academic and professional support services staff in order to enable a wide range of research projects in all of the academic disciplines represented at Edge Hill. You will be able to apply and develop your skills as a contract practitioner in a higher education research context.

You will be welcomed into a small and supportive department. The Research Office offers a variety of research support functions that the role feeds in to – through working alongside colleagues in the Research Office you will develop and extend your understanding of the contracting with research funders, collaborators and regulators.

You will benefit from 25 days annual leave plus 13 bank holiday and University closure days per annum, pro rata. We aim to provide our staff with a positive work life balance and have a range of schemes in place to support this.
