Inhouse Commercial /Retrain 4+ to Senior -hybrid/remote - FT/PT

Key role for commercial contracts lawyer or retrain from commercial litigation/commercial property/corporate - excellent benefits including additional holidays and generous pension

My client seeks a 4+ to senior lawyer for a broad spread commercial caseload. You will either have existing commercial contracts experience or be looking to move in-house and embark upon such a role (training given). Joining a substantial and collegiate legal team and acting on behalf of the organisation and its subsidiaries, matters will be largely commercial contracts based but could extend to property, litigation, employment and charity law.

In this business-critical role, you will:

• Instruct, retain and supervise external lawyers
• Support the organisation and its subsidiaries in the development, application and review of the relevant regulations, policies and procedures involving legal & compliance issues
• Raise awareness of legal issues & emerging legislation within the organisation
• Draft and review legal documentation for a wide range of areas
• Advise and negotiate in relation to dispute resolution

To be of interest, you will have a minimum of 4 years PQE (to more senior) and either already be in-house or have a background at a commercial practice. You should be a strong communicator, very commercially aware and solutions focused. You should also possess strong analytical and negotiating skills and be adept at dealing with stakeholders at varying levels.
