A leading UK-based law firm are looking for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their Cheltenham office. The successful candidate will provide exemplary support on all conveyancing requirements in the team's work for Commercial Real Estate, Portfolios and Units, and Banking/Finance issues.
Specifically, the role will involve document preparation and review, reviewing searches and Land Registry titles, transaction management, transaction completions and mortgage redemptions. Also, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing online data rooms and document management.
Ideally, our client is looking for a licensed conveyancer, or working towards qualifying as such, with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. Experience in dealing with SDLT returns is essential.
Our client will also consider a stella graduate who has some experience of administrative/paralegal duties within a law firm in a Real Estate/Commercial Property department. For the right candidate, on-going training will be available.
For this role we would be looking for candidates located in Cheltenham or in the surrounding areas that are happy to commute (e.g.. Gloucester, Bristol, Cardiff etc)
Academically, applicants must have an excellent law degree (bare minimum 2:1), on top of outstanding IT and organisational skills.
