Our client is one of the fastest growing UK law firms who are renowned for being client focused and working on high quality matters. They are currently looking to hire a 3+ PQE Associate to join their Commercial team in either Exeter or Bristol, with a blend of home/office working. This is a great opportunity to further develop your legal career and be a part of this driven and successful team.
Your new role
You will work on a variety of general commercial matters, including for household names, with a focus on the retail and consumer sector. Within this role, you will also have the opportunity to support junior lawyers and trainees.You'll be responsible for providing support to General Counsels and their teams, taking the opportunity to work alongside clients' inhouse legal functions and deliver advice directly to the business stakeholders, essentially acting as an extension of their team on a daily basis. Our client are excited to be able to offer secondment opportunities at all levels within the Commercial team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least three years commercial experience, either in-house or private practice; if the latter then previous secondment experience would be advantageous but not essential.Teamwork, effective communication skills, and being able to build strong relationships with clients is also important for this role.
