New Build Legal Assistant – Cardiff Gate

A growing team is looking for an ambitious new build legal assistant to join their Cardiff based team.

What you’ll do:

• Assist on a new build caseload from file open to file close

• carry out legal research and provide advice to case managers and other areas with conveyancing queries

• actively chase different parties for relevant documentation linking to cases

• handle mail and address letters, distributing to relevant person to action where necessary

• consistently deliver an excellent customer service when communicating with clients; take personal responsibility for accurately logging calls and handling any issues

• drive continuous improvement by supporting the development of processes and your own personal development

This role would suit people who have:

• one or more years conveyancing experience, preferably with some legal training

• great relationship building and communication skills

• knowledge of Land Registry forms and land law

• experience of managing or supporting on new build files

• ambition and drive to progress your legal career
