Motor Paralegal required for a global law firm in Manchester City Centre
Your new company
This motor paralegal position is based in Manchester City Centre at a major international law firm. The firm have a large, well-known client base, operating in a wide range of practice areas and are constantly aiming to expand and increase their operations. The Manchester office is one of their largest worldwide, employing over 150 qualified lawyers, and offering excellent progression and development routes.
Your new role
As a motor paralegal, you will deal with a high volume motor caseload and work under the supervision of fee earners/partners within the team. Your typical roles and responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the fee earners on day to day file management.
- Assisting on motor claims.
- Preparing court bundles.and drafting letters of instruction, requests, Instructions to Counsel.
- Preparing briefing notes, action plans, file notes and attendance notes.
- Reviewing reports and statements and other relevant documents.
- Liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply and be considered for this position, you must have completed your LLB degree and have, or be working towards completing your LPC. Previous experience working as an RTA, Insurance or Fraud paralegal would be greatly beneficial. This is a high volume based position, so having the ability to work to deadlines and hit targets is essential.
