The Role

This top-ranking and award-winning firm are seeking a Commercial Associate to join their Leeds office.

The Commercial team for this legal 500 firm deals with multi-jurisdictional work. They deal with HNW Commercial matters and work with a range of companies, including international fintech firms and blue-chip companies.

Your caseload will be broad and diverse including, drafting and negotiating IT contracts such as development projects, cloud services, software licensing, OEM and channel partner agreements.

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to develop your exposure to compliance matters such as data protection, information security and open-source compliance.,

You will be working directly alongside some of the most well-known partners in the industry giving you access to a level of expertise that is hard to find outside of the city.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Lawyer with at least 4 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
• An interested in tech is advantageous
• You will have a meticulous eye when it comes to detail
• You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
• You will have strong business development capabilities
• The ability to build credible client relationships is essential
