The Opportunity
This highly reputable company is seeking a Commercial Lawyer, to join as a commercial Legal counsel to work alongside the Head of Legal in a small team within the company Headquarters in South Wales.  This opportunity will suit a commercial solicitor with a minimum of three years experience, either from Private Practice or an In-House environment who is looking for an in house, collaborative, innovative environment. 

This is what you’ll be doing 

• Advising on a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracts, procurement, tenders, compliance, regulatory and infrequently, some employment matters
• Providing legal advice and support to business 
• Liaising with external counsel when required
• Drafting a wide range of legal documents and support materials as mentioned above
• Leading negotiations on a broad range of commercial contract matters in particular
• Providing training to the wider business departments 

The experience you need for this role

• A qualified Solicitor / Lawyer
• Experience within commercial contracts law is essential
• Excellent academics
• Excellent communication skills
• IT Literate
