NQ+ Employment Solicitor (Contentious & Non-contentious): Leeds

My client is a well-ranked Legal 500 firm based in Leeds which is very active particularly within the sports, retail and manufacturing sectors. A great opportunity has arisen for a junior solicitor to join a team lead by two nationally renowned and respected partners to assist the firm with a wide ranging number of employment law issues both contentious and non-contentious.

With a number high profile clients across a number of sectors and will a full diverse range of work on offer, the successful candidate will be directly involved in high-quality work which ranging from advising on large restructurings, international corporate transactions, acquisitions and HR governance issues.

The successful candidate can also expect to be involved in areas which my client is particularly renowned for such as TUPE transfers, collective consultations, insolvency scenarios and dispute resolution.

Candidates seeking to apply for this role must either be a UK qualified solicitor or should be approaching qualification in the immediate weeks ahead. Ideally, applicants should already have previous employment law experience / undertaken a seat in employment law as part of their training contract. An excellent level of academic achievement must be demonstrated (minimum 2:1 at degree level or equivalent) as well as a clear passion and enthusiasm for working in employment law. Time management and interpersonal skills are essential for maintaining and building client relationships and this is something which my client values tremendously.
