Summary:

Cathedral Appointments is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a forward-thinking, dynamic law firm on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be joining the firm’s New Homes team based in Taunton. The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE. What will you be doing as a Residential Conveyancer?

You will manage your own caseload of predominantly new build purchase files with some re-mortgage matters You will assist clients through the drafting of relevant documents and ensuring compliance to enable housing transactions to go through smoothly You will liaise with Developers, Lenders and other Stakeholders throughout the life of the transactions

 

Skills/Qualifications of a Residential Conveyancer:

You will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE Prior experience of working property transactions and have experience handling a busy caseload Excellent, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills together with great attention to detail, including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships Able to tackle issues and problems in a logical, step by step way with an eye for detail. Strong IT skills with the ability to become familiar with new systems quickly
