Renewable Energy/Construction 8+

Outstanding opportunity for be the 2nd lawyer at an FCA regulated PE firm which acts as AIFM and commercial manager to a publicly listed vehicle is seeking a transactional lawyer to support the General Counsel and commercial team in managing the fund's commercial and asset management contracting. Rapid expansion both in the UK, Australia, Europe and the USA has resulted in the need for an additional lawyer.

Key requirements

* Work closely with commercial managers to draft and negotiate engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements and annexes, operations and maintenance (O&M) agreements, asset management agreements (PPAs), ICP and supply agreements for energy storage projects
* Support General Counsel to structure and negotiate energy storage asset purchases, supervising acquisition completion process
* Work closely with compliance and finance managers to full-fill public reporting obligations
Requirements
* Appreciation of commercial objectives when providing legal advice
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey legal advice in a succinct and actionable format
* An ability to manage a complex and diverse workload under tight deadlines.
* High interpersonal skills; team oriented and collaborative
* Comfortable taking instruction and ability to work independently

Current working ether in-house or at a leading law firm you will have experience within renewables energy, energy construction, projects or project finance with strong EPC experience being preferred. A strong understanding of the regulatory framework for energy supply is advantageous but not mandatory.
