We at Panoramic Associates are currently working with a large Local Authority who are looking for a Locum Principal Property Lawyer to join them for an initial 6+ months contract, possibly extending beyond then!  The successful candidate will be able to work on a flexible working basis with only occasional attendance to the office for meetings.

This role will join the property team within legal services at a large local authority working on some interesting and complex work to assist with some exciting on-going projects for the council. The role will also include line management of Senior Solicitors and Solicitors within the property team.  

Essential criteria:

• A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive, alternatively non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
• Good practical knowledge of advising on complex property matters including high volume property transactions & advising on large scale property projects.
• Previous experience leading and supervising a team of experienced lawyers successfully
• The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within local government and have an understanding of the local government framework and relevant practice and policy issues relating specifically to property matters.
