Job Details
Are you a newly-qualified or junior Lawyer seeking your next challenge? We are working closely with a friendly and close-nit London Council to recruit to their fantastic Legal team.
This assignment is expected to be for at least 6 months and has the potential to extend on a rolling basis. You can work form home, or attend the office if you wish.
The Childcare team at this council is very experienced and they are keen to bring someone onboard who they can develop and support. They are open to applications from junior lawyers, and anyone looking to move from private practice into the public sector, as long as you have some experience of public care work.
Your duties will include:
- Handling a caseload of care proceedings and pre proceedings
- Providing advice on any public law childcare legislation
- Advocacy (optional)
You must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive to be considered for this post.
