NQ+ Real Estate Finance Solicitor/Legal Executive: Leeds/Hybrid

My client is a highly respected international law firm which has approximately 1500 lawyers managing a top quality portfolio of legal services. Consistently well ranked within the Legal 500 and Chambers, my client is now looking to recruit a Real Estate Finance lawyer to assist highly regarded partners and lawyers in a growing Real Estate Finance Team. Applications from both solicitors and legal executives with previous Real Estate Finance experience would be welcome.

Based in the centre of Leeds, this is a tremendous opportunity for a junior lawyer with an ambition to further develop their career in property law and to be exposed to a range of high quality instructions under the supervision of partners and lawyers who have years of experience within the field. There will be an expectation, where appropriate and relevant for some level of office attendance, however this will be very much dependent on a candidate's experience.

The successful candidate will be expected actively manage a wide range of real estate finance transactions and carry out regular due diligence exercises in addition to producing / drafting reports and other transaction documents. As well as being on hand to help with projects relating to debt acquisition, candidates will need to ensure that documentation they are responsible for is maintained and managed in a way that ensures timescales and deadlines are met, which in turn will require teamwork skills of the highest quality.

Any candidate applying for this position should either be a qualified solicitor or legal executive, and my client would be happy to consider applications from candidates who are approaching qualification in the coming weeks. Good academics are essential for my client. Previous real estate finance is preferable, however candidates who can show a depth of previous property law experience will be equally considered. Candidates will need to demonstrate an ability to exercise sound commercial judgment and must have the ability to work well within team.

In addition to a generous base salary (which will be bespoke depending on a candidate's level of experience, my client offers a package which contains a number of attractive benefits. Although remote working remains possible, supervisory needs and other essential arising matters will determine more precisely the number of days a candidate is required to attend the office.
