Salary: The basic salary range for the post is £40,750 to £46,150 inclusive of London Weighting, the post also attracts an additional Market Forces Supplement (MFS) of £3570 which is non-contractual. It is anticipated that the appointment will be made at base point of the salary range.

The role

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Lawyer (Contracts & Litigation Division), on a permanent basis, to provide legal advice on, and manage a caseload of housing and property matters including rent arrears, housing possession, housing fraud, ASB, encroachments/trespass, service charge arrears, breach of leasehold covenants and other general debt recovery. The role also requires attending Court and undertaking appropriate advocacy.

About you

We are looking for applicants who are solicitors or barristers with some post qualification experience. The position requires the successful candidate to possess a general level of knowledge and expertise in the area of housing law, to be able to give professional legal advice to a wide range of clients. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage the expectations of clients, to ultimately bring the cases to a satisfactory conclusion.
