Litigation Finance Associate - New York

Our client's New York office is looking for a New York licensed experienced associate to join its litigation finance practice group.

If you have solid experience in commercial and financial services litigation together with experience in New York state court and/or a federal clerkship, this is a superb role to diversify and grow your career as a litigator!

This is an opportunity to work autonomously and alongside great attorneys advising litigation funders, venture capital and private equity firms, technology startups, and multi-strategy hedge fund clients in connection with their investments in funding transactions, including claims monetization and the provision of non-recourse capital to both plaintiffs and law firms.

You will assist existing and new clients with the negotiation of commercial litigation funding transactions and advise throughout the entire life cycle of financed cases.

The team includes lawyers who have successfully acted for financial clients across the globe to resolve complex cross-border disputes, as well as former government prosecutors and regulators who have first-hand experience in today's challenging regulatory environment.

This is a collaborative group who have protected and repatriated billions in assets for their clients through worldwide freezing injunctions, disclosure orders, and other ancillary and tracing remedies using local courts and arbitral bodies.
