In-House Corporate Paralegal - Qatar

Our client, a leading investment company headquartered in Qatar, is looking for a highly experienced Paralegal to join them. They have extensive interests across the globe, and this role will support both investment and corporate/portfolio management. There will be exposure to a wide range of activities including: document review (NDA's, transaction documents, AGM agendas, board minutes etc.), preparing document summaries, managing document flow including execution, communicating with relevant internal and external parties and preparing closing sets.

The client is looking for a candidate with a background in corporate private practice or for an in-house investment team. The successful individual will also assist with business process efficiency initiatives, and so any exposure to legal tech or process improvement tools will be beneficial.

In order to be considered for this position, applicants must have a good law degree, have Native English linguistic skills, (Arabic would also be highly advantageous), and extensive and relevant practical experience gained in a similar role (either Private Practice or an in-house environment). Knowledge of document management systems would be advantageous.

It is highly preferable that applicants are currently located in Qatar, and applicants should have prior experience of working in the Gulf.
