Insolvency Lawyer

Thornton Legal are currently working with a very well-regarded law firm who have an excellent reputation within Insolvency law. They are very keen to add a talented lawyer to their team in Manchester.

Ideally, you will have experience of Insolvency law and probably have at least 3 years of experience.

The practice has a strong emphasis on contentious matters, are often instructed to pursue substantial and highly technical claims, some of which are multi-jurisdictional and often involving fraud and recovery options.

They also specialise in non-contentious insolvency and advise officeholders and stakeholders in relation to pre-pack and trading administrations, restructuring options, LPA receiverships, security, validity of appointment, CVA's, liquidations and court administration applications.

This role will therefore be varied, interesting and allow you to expand upon you existing experience within Insolvency. You will manage your own caseload and have the satisfaction of doing this from inception to completion.

The firm recognise that insolvency has a small 'gene-pool' of talented lawyers, so are also happy for litigators to apply who are looking to retrain in Insolvency law or move from financial services litigation.

In return you will work with some leading Insolvency lawyers across the national team, covering advisory and formal insolvency, to the successful realisation of assets for the benefit of creditors.
