Job Details
Our client is a highly successful law firm who are looking to bolster their offering with a diligent and strong Corporate Solicitor into their Birmingham based office.
They are highly accredited and widely acclaimed as they appear within the Legal 500 publication. The firm have various departments filled with well experienced solicitors with whom you'll work with on a daily basis. This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to develop and establish your legal career and expertise as you will work on matters on a scale of varying complexity.
Your role:
- To manage own workload of corporate transactional and company law advisory work (to include structuring and governance) for a variety of clients including owner managed businesses, private and public companies, public sector bodies, LLPs, partnerships and individuals.
- Assist other lawyers in the team with their work as required including supporting lead advisers in transactional work and supervision of more junior lawyers.
- To develop and build upon own case load of corporate/company law matters whilst supporting partners with larger scale matters.
- Ensure clients are kept informed as often as may be required.
- To take an active role in business development.
- Liaise with internal and external parties such as colleagues, clients, other lawyers etc.
